Pine Needle Dish

Using glycinin treated pine needles, students will learn how to attach the needles to a 4” laser cut base using the chain stitch. Several rows of the wheat stitch will bring up the sides and the rim is finished in the fern stitch. Stitching/coiling pine needles is a lovely hobby that you can do and take with you anywhere. Bases could be different depending on availability. Students should like hand sewing.
