Using an antique pastry blender and an oval hoop, students will learn to turn and old kitchen tool into a ribbed basket. Techniques taught will include: a woven "ear", sighting, whittling, and inserting primary and secondary ribs, weaving and shaping. Ribs are dyed to coordinate with handle on pastry blender. A real conversation piece!
